Hi PPL,
Wher do we set overdelivery limit in the SO level and at the Customer material info record??
Best Regards,
Subbzz..
It is set in Customer Master Shipping Screen and in Customer material info and for delivery we can maintain it in Delivery item category.

Hi
The Overdelivery limit specified in the Customer Master Record is applicable to all order items created for this customer.
The limit specified in the CMIR is specific to that Material only. For that specific matrial in the order the limit is taken from the CMIR since CMIR(highest level of master data in SD) has priority over the CMR.
The value can be given only in percentage.
The overdelivery control in Delivery Item category is only to specify the System's response to the overdelivery. If this is not configured, the system will allow you to do overdelivery than the limit specified irrespective of the values mentioned in the CMR or CMIR.
Thanks,
Ravi

Dear Subbz
In three places, we can define this tolerance limit
- In customer master, in Sales Area Data under Shipping tab, you can maintain this
- In CMR, under the tab Partial delivery you can maintain this
- For your delivery item category (T.Code 0vlp) you can set this limit
First two are the controls related to customer and third one is irrespective of customer, for that material, system will control.
thanks
