Hi there,
i have here a Java only Testsystem. Now i have to deploy manually a SAP application called: Adaptive Computing Controller 1.0
There is a SCA File called: ACCONL08_0.sca
Now my question is, how to deploy the File manually?
Is there a guide that explain step by step how to deplay Java applications?
I never have deployed appliactions.....
Please can you help me there?
It is a Windows system
It would be perfect if you could give me a little Guide like:
Open Programm XYZ
Click on File - Open - filexyz.sca
then click - Deploy
I know that this isn`t so easy but eventually you have a guide like this
Thanks
Bjoern
you will have to use SDM (Software Deployment Manager) to deploy the file.
You will find the batch file for SDM here -- /usr/sap/<SID>/JC00/SDM/program/ .
Its called RemoteGui.bat.
Thanks,
GLM

First i have to know what ACC you want to install?
ACC 1.0 has other requirements as ACC 7.1
For ACC 1.0 you need BASIS 640
BASIS 700 is not Supportet with ACC 1.0 as i know.
So the last installation from me is ACC 1.0 on HP Hardware with BASIS 640 / Windows 2003 Server and MSSQL
I dont know but i think you can download ACC 1.0 here on SDN. in the Marketplace is only 7.1 available.
What you need?
My Scenario was:
3 Servers
1 Solution Manager
1 Java Stack (here you deplay the ACC 1.0 and a Standalone Gateway)
1 Netweaver
So. Yes you have to install a Solution Manager for this.
So combined you have to do the following things:
Install a Java Stack (there install a SLD too) on the Java Stack install a Standalone Gateway and deplay (install) the ACC 1.0
Install a Solution Manager
Install a Netweaver (or APPL Server etc)
After that you have to do a lot reoperation depending on your Hardware etc. That depends on the Storage System too. Do you have a NFS mount or do you have a SAN etc.
Here in SDN is a Site.. puhhhh wait:
here
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/adaptive?rid=/webcontent/uuid/50a28736-a741-2a10-139a-cc9b3d8200c0
You can find PDFs etc for ACC 1.0 i think you should read this.
I hope i can help a little bit
Greetings
