How to login using japanese language using Web GUI

Hi All,

I have imported japanese language in ECC 5.0 system.I am able to login on the system using Win GUI.I am not able to login in japanese on the same system using Web GUI .

Is there any setting of internal ITS that I have to do in order to enable languages on Web GUI.

Hi bhondele,

Have u checked ur IE Language settigs ?

Tool->IE->Language-> Change to 'japanese' .

Incase if u r using EP,in addn to IE settigs ,

In EP. goto->Personalise->Portal Lang->change to Japenese.

Thanks for the reply.

I want to use japanese language using WEB GUI.I am able to see only two languages i.e English and German.I am not getting japanese as an option in dropdown.

So,I cannot choose japanese as a logon language.

My question is "how to get japanese in that dropdown box so I can choose japanese for logon".

Hi,

Check the Language descrption in transaction <b> SICF </b>.

/default_host/sap/

Double clilk the SAP node ,

here u can see the Language descrption field .

Click Other languages.

Here u have to maintain service for Japanese Lang.

This has to be done by the Basis ppl.Plz Consult with them.
