Problem connecting to DB service sapdp00

Hello, i installed Sneak preview for NetWeaver on Windows Server 2003. Data base looks ok. Console root looks ok, and shows NSP active(green). I installed locally on server 2003. Loopback is installed. I cant reach the sapdp00. i get a " partner not reached(host 10.10.0.10, service sapdp00).

Can someone help me as of where to look ? As a Senior abaper, this is the first time i install SAP on a server.

Hi ,

Check if the database server is up and running.The console will have two root nodes .R they both in green?

Try connecting and entering into the database externally.

Generally if the DB instance is not running , this error would occur.
