Packaging Issue

Hi All,

After delivery finished goods stock is reducing and the packaging material stock is not reducing.Both finished goods and packaging material storage locations are different.

What are the settings required so that packaging material stock will reduced?

Check the Material document (PGI Document) if your material is showing a 601 movement with a -iv sign?

If it is showing then the inventory has to reduce for the packing material in the system.

I am assuming that you don't see the packing material in the material document, which straight away tells that the packing material material in not PGI'd, and hence the inventory is not reduced.

Check the TVEPZ Table for knowing whats the schedule line category system is proposing for the goods movement.

Then check the schedule line category configuration for knowing the movement type associated with it.

Please check what you have taken the item category of the packing material.

whether it is retumable packaging or normal one.

Check accordingly the schedule line determined for the paking items.

whether the movement type is 601.

&

Check in the delivery in the good movement data ...whether the goods movement is happeing correctly.
